Life changing place! The work is worth it. The staff really cares and show a lot of support. The level of care is amazing and the growth that can happen here is beautiful. If you're wondering if this place is worth it, the answer is yes!
Absolute life changing experience! This wonderful place helped me so much more than I can say. I would absolutely recommend this for anyone who needs help, because seriously, the staff and therapists are life savers!
Maple Mountain Recovery truly changes lives. The staff are caring and dedicated, the food is great, and the individualized programming helps you work through trauma and set real goals for life outside. So grateful for everything they do — highly recommend to anyone looking for real help and lasting recovery.
Maple Mountain Recovery is amazing. The home is kept clean and is very comfortable. The staff is caring, attentive and supportive. The chefs are amazing and the food is delicious. I could not recommend this facility enough and owe them my life! I found so much peace here and in the program.
Maple Mountain has been an incredible experience. The programming is of great quality and all the staff are not only competent but kind. I’ve spent two and a half months here and it was time well spent. I have learned and grown a lot from my time here. Maple Mountain has accommodated me in so many ways and gone the extra mile to get me the help I need to be successful in life. 10/10 would recommend!
Four years ago I walked into MMR at my complete rock bottom and needed help desperately. They opened their doors and arms to help me find me, to find much needed help and healing and without your facility and care team I would not be alive today. They did a personalized care plan that allowed me a safe place to heal and grow.. I am alive today because of their ability to love me when I didn't know how to love myself. Forever grateful for this program and clinical team. Thank you doesn't seem enough to convey my gratitude.
My time during treatment at MMR was life changing. I definitely walked out a new person, very different from how I walked in. I learned a lot and was able to find myself again with the support of the MMR staff. I honestly believe that Maple Mountain saved my life and helped my learn to accept and love myself, along with my lifelong friendships I made in treatment. I am so grateful to have had this experience in such a welcoming and healing environment. 10/10 recommend.
Leaving Maple Mountain is one of the hardest things I’ve had to do — because it truly feels like home now.
When I first came here, I was unsure and scared, but looking back, it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The support, the community, the staff, the environment — every part of it has helped me grow in ways I didn’t even know I needed. I’ve laughed, cried, healed, and connected more deeply than I thought was possible. This place held me while I found pieces of myself again.
I’m leaving with a full heart and endless gratitude. Thank you, Maple, for being a place I’ll carry with me forever. 🧡
Residential Mental Health Treatment FAQs
Admissions
Can you admit someone who is having suicidal thoughts?
Yes. We can admit adults who are having suicidal thoughts or who have been self-harming, and our team will talk with you about safety from the first call. If someone is in immediate danger, call 911 or call or text 988 first.
Who is residential mental health treatment for?
Adults 18 and older whose depression, anxiety, trauma or other symptoms have made daily life hard to manage, especially when outpatient therapy and medication have not been enough. Our admissions team will help you figure out whether residential care is the right fit.
Can I come from out of state?
Yes. People come to Maple Mountain from across the country. We can help with travel and arrange a transfer from the Salt Lake City or Provo airport.
I am calling for someone I love. Can you help?
Yes. Many calls come from parents, partners and siblings. We will listen, answer your questions, and help you plan next steps. Admissions answers 7 AM to 9 PM Mountain Time, every day.
Insurance and cost
Do you take insurance?
Maple Mountain is out of network with insurance companies. Many clients use the out-of-network benefits in a PPO plan, and private pay is also available. Call us and we will check your benefits for free and explain your costs before you commit.
Life at Maple Mountain
Can I keep my phone and laptop?
Yes. Clients keep their phones and laptops, so you can stay in touch with family and handle work or personal matters when you need to.
How long does residential treatment last?
It depends on your needs and progress. Your clinical team reviews your plan with you during your stay and helps you decide when you are ready for the next step.
Do you treat substance use too?
Yes, when it happens alongside a mental health condition. We treat both together, because the depression, anxiety or trauma underneath often drives the drinking or drug use.
What is the difference between residential care and PHP?
In residential care you live at Maple Mountain and receive treatment throughout the day. Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) offers full days of treatment for people who are ready to spend nights outside the program. We will help you decide which fits.
